I need an intervention!!!

Help! How do I get myself to stop eating everything in sight!!! I have been horrible since the last time I blogged. I think that getting away from blogging and not visiting the other lapband websites to keep me motivated has really cause me to loose track of anything. I cannot for the life of me get a grip on getting back to eating the way I used to. Can some one please come smack me upside the head? I have gained 9 lbs back and although a lot of you might say it's not that bad compared to the 100 lbs originally lost, I don't want the 9 to become 15, then 20lbs and so on and so forth!

I'm committing myself here today to start working out and really get a hold of my eating again. Why is it becoming so hard again? I cannot get any more fills because just .25cc's will make me so tight that water will not go down. It is now really a matter of just really going back to basics. Does anyone else have this issue? How did you overcome and get yourself back on track?

Definitely forever a work in progress!!!

Just call me the muffin gal!

I went on another little shopping spree that my hubby took me this past weekend and I am proud to say that I fit in a size 8 pants well at least from New York and Company. I feel like because NY&C is more of a women's store than a teen store, that the sizes are a bit more realistic for the curvy woman I am. The only problem of course is that because they fit a bit snug, but I am determined to stay in them I now suffer from muffin top!!! Which then in turn makes me feel like a cow! 100 lbs gone and I still feel like a cow?

Well let's just say that I guess that has given me some motivation to start working out again. Maybe if I can reduce the muffin top and fit in an 8 comfortably I can finally hit the 10 more lbs that I would like to lose. So what happens when I get there? Will I then go and try a size 6 and start the muffin top all over? This may just never end!

Until next time! ♥xoxo♥

Proud to wear dresses...

Just a couple weeks ago I had a friends wedding to attend and was very excited to finally wear a dress in a very long time. I went dress shopping and ended up with 2 dresses that I fell in love with...below is a picture of one of them. It is just a huge difference looking at my before picture and now. It really shows what a long way I have come!

Back again! Fill #6

So, let's try this one more time...As you all know from my last fill experience I was a little iffy going back and getting a fill. That feeling was definately not something I wish on anyone...

I went in yesterday to get a fill as I was getting close to being able to eat a whole cow...ok not really, but it sure felt like I wanted to eat everything in sight. So, the Dr gave me a 0.5cc fill. He pretty much left me back to where I was at before that horrible fill. Hopefully, I can appreciate this fill and be good to get to my goal...12 more lbs and I am there. Now if I can only get Will to come back in my life???

I'm hoping that I can vacation again this summer, so I definately need to get summer ready! Oh! did I mention that I tried the P90X for a minute and I was dying for the next week! Every single muscle in my body was aching and breaking! O Lord! never again will I try that...I am sticking to my Zumba. I also just got the Biggest Loser for the Wii and will be trying that out!

Until next time all!! ♥xoxo♥

Unfill Again!!

So as many of you may know that being too tight is definitely not the most fun. I could not sleep, eat, drink or relax. Acid reflux, cough and regurgitating were some of the symptoms I was experiencing.

I finally was able to contact my dr and make an emergency appt to get an unfill. So he removed another .75cc making me now 2 cc total in my band. he had originally filled me with .5cc, but at this point I don't care. As soon as I left the Dr's office I ran to El Pollo Loco and ate! I was starving. It has been a whole week without eating any solids without them coming right back up. As of this morning I could not even have my protein shake. Everyone was telling me that I was getting this sick look on my face, not the healthy glow that I had been seen with in the last couple of months, so that got me more worried.

So far it seems like I am feeling much better. My weight at the Dr's office was 162! I need 12 more lbs to goal!

unfilled!!!

So I went to my dr's office and got a bit of an unfil apparently maybe .25 cc's out of my band. I'm still on liquids, but at least I was able to sleep last night and no more choking on my saliva. I will be doing a couple more days of liquids and then try to go on solids and see how that goes. I hope this does it if not I will have to remove more. This is the first time ever that I have had such a horrible feeling with the band. It is not fun at all!!

Will keep you posted on my progress. The plus side is that I have lost about 3 lbs with this ordeal, but not a fun way of losing the weight.

On the bright side, after my dr's appt I went to the mall and tried on some dresses..I fit in a size 10 dress!!!! OMG I felt fabulous!

until next time ♥XOXO♥

Now I am too tight...need and unfill

I just had a .5cc fill on Wednesday and was on my liquids all day yesterday. All of a sudden in the afternoon, I started noticing that I was having a hard time drinking my water and when I got home I had maybe 2 or 3 ounces of shake for dinner and I had such a hard time. I kept feeling the chest pain when drinking. By the time I went to bed it was to the point that I kept feeling the need to belch, so I could feel better. So I fell asleep and then woke up gasping for air and chocking on my own saliva. After that it kept happening every 45mins or hour I kept getting that feeling. Acid reflux, dry cough, chest pain....sounds like I have the works.

So this morning I tried to drink some water and it all came right back up. I was able to get a hold of my Dr and I have an appt this afternoon at 3pm as he is in surgery all day. I am so hungry and thirsty, but I can't drink anything. This has never happened to me before. I can't lie down because I start choking. So not fun!

It's our 1 year Anniversary!!! The band and I and a 5th fill...

1 year ago Today, my band and I became one! 96lbs down and really close to goal!!! I can't ask for anything better than that! It has been an amazing journey and it went really, really fast! I really never felt like I was on a diet. I ate what I wanted, I just tweaked it so it was a healthier choice.

My doctor has given me a goal weight of 150 lbs, so that means I have another 15 more lbs to go. I may move it to 145 to have that 5 lbs flexibility, but we will see when I get there. With that said, he gave me another 0.5cc fill to help me.

I have also reached so many NSV's along the way that before the band, I could only dream of. So here is a list of my accomplishments.

* I am currently at my high school weight.
* I can cross my legs not only once, but twice! I can do the wrap around! lol
* I'm a size 10. Something I have never ever been...not even in high school.
* I can go for a run without feeling like I'm gonna die! Actually, I had not ran since I was in Jr high! no joke!
* I fit in restaurant booths with plenty of space.
* When riding in the back seat of my Honda, I don't have to worry about the seat belt not fitting. It doesn't feel like it's choking me anymore.
* When we go to Disneyland, I no longer worry that I won't fit in the rides. I have plenty of space.
* I don't have to walk sideways in isles.
* My Heel pain is gone.
* My knees don't crack as often.
* The clothes on me do resemble somewhat the display.
* Energy is up 100%
* I'm no longer obese.
* I shop in normal people stores! Good bye Lane Bryant!
* I am alive, healthy and skinny!

Thank you to all my followers! You have cheered me on through my journey and thank you to my husband who reminds me how sexy I look everyday!

until next time ♥xoxo♥

Here are my 90lb weight loss pics..better late than never

I ran for the first time!!!

Ok, so I need to get my Mojo going which I just blogged about earlier today. So I got my butt up and went for a walk with my friend at work and she said, "What if we do a little run", so I said what the heck....I was able to run and guess what....I was not dying! I was so proud of my accomplishment that I had to blog about it!

No mojo!

So the scale isn't moving and it's just not making me happy. With that said I'm starting to loose my mojo and I'm not happy with that. I'm beggining to fall back on old patterns of eating behavior and it upsets me that I am even thinking of going back on that route. And not that I am eating extremely horrible, but I'm not watching my food 100% like I was. I am currently weighing 168.6 lbs and I have been there for a while. It's a dissapointment when I have been averaging 10-12 lbs a month and in the last 3 months I have lost 10-12 in total. It is also due to the fact that I am so close to my goal, that it may make me feel like I can splurge here or there since I'm almost there. I really want to hit my 100 lb weight loss by my 1 year band anniversary next month on the 17th.

So far I am trying to walk on my lunch break to add that little extra workout and hope it helps. I really hate the winter because it puts me in a hibernation state. Even though here in Southern California it's not snowing or any major weather issue that would stop me from going outside, but 54 degree weather for me is freezing ok..lol. I just hope that writing and reading your responses telling me to get my ass up and go will help me a bit. I need 8 more lbs to reach my goal...I need to get there....at this point it looks like I will be crawling there LOL....

until next time ♥XOXO♥

New Years Eve and marking my 90 lbs loss!

What a way to ring out the Year with 90 lbs gone forever! Now I start 2011 with new clothes, dreams and goals that do not seem at all unattainable. I'm glad 2010 is over, but I take nothing but learning experiences from it and a huge satisfaction for what I have done with myself. Hope you all had a great time welcoming the New Year 2011 and will keep in touch!

XOXO Til next time ♥
